Hi, I’m Jim Calverley and this site is all about my photography journey, I’ll post about things I learn and shots I think make the grade.

For the last two years I’ve been a member of the Melton Mowbray Photographic Society, I’ve not been terribly active but I’m hoping going into the 2021/22 season that will change, I need to make more time to relax and get involved! I’ll add a page with my competition entries and maybe include the eventual score and feedback too…. depends if its good or not 😉

I also frequent The Photography Social shoots at PGD Photography where I’ve learnt so much about how my camera works and how to set up lighting for all sorts of situations.

I’m an enthusiastic amateur but would happily get involved in shooting anything interesting, feel free to ask me if I can help and I’ll probably jump at the chance, if I’m available that is!
